FRAMES' presents the discovery of new values and uses for materials that are normally unframed and casually handled in frames. It was produced as an independent project by designer Ishii Kazuharu. In addition to framed works in soundproof panels, plaster (Seto Issho) and thermal screens, the project also includes a framed ceramic work created in collaboration with the late ceramic artist Akari Karugane. The exhibition and sale of framed works of 'pottery' created in collaboration with the late ceramic artist Akari Karugane will be held. The touring exhibition at 24 PILLARS_gallery in the Kanayama district of Nagoya will also feature an expanded selection of ceramics from Yamahana.
